discovered your blog today and immediately fell in love with it.
ich verneige mich hochachtungsvoll,

The suit ...
He looks like 40's mobster
this kinda looks like my dad
The gloves. Definitely the gloves.
The hat's pretty darned cool.
what is that in his pocket? too bunchy to be a square, kinda looks like a lapel flower that is brown and..uh..not on the lapel.
speaking of lapels, i am not a big fan of notch lapel DBs, but thats a small slight on a great look.
Mmmmm...the gloves. Yes, the gloves.
Note how the glove is folded over at the cuff - the coolest guys in the 30's and 40's did that. See Bogart in "All Through the Night."
Snappy!
I love the pale yellow turtleneck best.
The gloves, definitively.
I love your blog! particularly the nattily dressed gentlemen
here in the West Coast, attitudes towards fashion are so much more relaxed.
what makes this man look sharp? It's not the hat, or the turtleneck or even the gloves (nice touch)
it's his confidence.
Yeah, the gloves, they're suave.
GRRRR those gloves are fierce
This fellow looks great, I wish there'd be more geezers dressed like him in So Cal. Everything in his ensemble works, but I agree with M@t that there is something slightly off about the lapel flower/pocket square, whatever it happens to be.
THe red-black saddle shoes!
Handsome! I can't decide either. I'm loving the turtleneck, it's a lovely shade of yellow. His gloves are unique... The hat is certainly lovely but the suit I think I'm going to have to go with the suit. It's absolutely lovely. :)
for me it's the whole outfit just the fact that you see a gentleman dressed up so fasionably is amazing
i adore gloves
