On The Street....Madison Ave, New York

This look falls under the "not something I would wear " but it is a perfectly executed expression of personal style.
So many great elements - the loafers, the club collar, the DB jacket w/ only the inside button buttoned. Bravo

Ditto. He has well developed personal style, one that I cannot claim to be dear to me.

Like the bag though.

Did you happen to ask him if the lapel pin had personal significance?

I like the close up so we can see the detail. He's definitely got his own style.

nice tie!

I like the subtle show of pattern on the pocket square. And that's quite a bag he's got there!

In case people don't know, that lapel pin features a stirrup (from an English saddle), and a snaffle bit, which is part of a bridle. His pocket square also indicates a love for the equestrian life. Perhaps he's leading a double life as a show-jumper on the local circuit at weekends. Just a thought.

those glasses are awesome

Can't ride the bus on this one - It's like telling Tom Clancy he looks good in military drag...

If that is an Hermes bag that would explain the affinty for all things equestrian.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:34 PM) :

Thats typical Bennett Weisntock!!! And Bennett is one of the very few of the truly nice gentlemen in the industry.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 AM) :

lapel pin, pocket square, and bag all appear to be vintage Hermes!
