post a commentWhy does she have some poor little girl's dress stuck to her front?
Grandpa's cardigan never looked so good or so fresh.
isn't that isabel dupre of elle?
I like the guy in the background.
This is so cute I can barely stand it.
Isabelle is always mixing it up like a good French girl would do. That cascading jabot with the slouchy trouser and granny sweater mix is not an easy look to pull off. Her messy bob and that bordeaux Chanel bag finish the look perfectly. C'est parfait!
i love it. it's quite. the whole outfit flows well.
I love this...just a hint of menswear with an all out girly top.
She look just LOVELY. No...I did'nt say SEXY.....
This is perfect. Very sexy without being obvious. Nice color shifts. Great looking haircut.
There's something very frumpy about this outfit, but she seems very confident about her choice...hmmm...interesting.
wonderful!!! i just adore this. fashionable & comfortable!!
I think Isabel Dupré who is the Style Director at US Elle is fab!
This is something that could be worn to work (for those of us in freezing office buildings) - it meets all of the 'business appropriate' requirements but the top makes it fun and unconventional...just don't stand too close to the paper shredder!
Not sure what's going on with the blouse - but the cuffed trousers and bag? - Sharp!
Nice handbag...sorry, that's it.
I'm in love with her shirt.
She looks great, and the shyness actually helps. Am I the only one who notices the guy in the background, cool pose and nice-looking shoes. Maybe Sart should've been a bit more sartorial (strictest definition of the word) and gotten him in the mix as well?
love the blouse, don't like trendy bag or pants.
i am struggling to find something to not like (a lot) about this look and i am failing miserably. i want her clothes, i want her haircut, i wouldn't refuse her bag, and chances are pretty good that i want her life, at least on the day that she was wearing that outfit.
she looks lovely.
pure class.
Beautiful combination of wolume and colours - I especially adore the sobre blue knitted jakcet - and this woman relly can pull of all the bows and fabric in the yellow blouse (a colour similar to one of the dresses in the Prada show the other day).
I miss the period when this site was small and the comments weren't so rude.
I think she looks very pretty and comfortable.
rude? where? perhaps some comments are more assertive?
I've always preferred the style of fashion editors and fashion designers themselves. They tend to be classic and quirky at the same time. Thanks for this photo. I love Isabel!
her haircut is perfect. she looks so sweet and so french.
Perfect example of how a great bag (trendy? Classic.) can pull together an oufit.
Love the pants.
I love this look. She's like a romantic librarian.
This is a great look..I love the contrast. Very individually put together but still with a nod to current fashion....
love the muted colours too...
I LOVE the cuffs on those trousers. Love it when Elle does a shoot featuring Isabel - her personal style is beautiful.
I'm not entirely fond of the shirt, reminds me of drapery in art class, but I love all the colors, and how the bag and shoes (/ slippers) add to the mix.
The pants are gorgeous. Luv the guy standing in the background too.
frumpy-chic...love it!
I love her way of using colours in this outfit and also the way the bag makes a contrast. It looks casual, comfortble and very chic.
i love this outfit. the blouse is wonderful. the cardigan is lovely, too, and just the proper amount of frumpy-luxe. it's reassuring to see someone of such fashion caliber dressing well but not over the top; very approachable. she looks just beautiful.
She looks so gorgeous and romantic, such an unusual look and so eye catching...lovely!
Great!!
Love the Chloe top!
This is one of my favorites yet! She looks so wonderful - like Diane Keaton and Mia Farrow in one!
soo elegant. Love it.
I'm looking at the Dries style book for 2006-2007. Her blouse looks like Dries whose models pants are ankle length.
Love the bag..
ENID P.
This lady is perfection! This could go either way on the wrong person.
i love this chic!
weird how ppl like the typical fashion! which is soo what this site is Not what it's all about.. her look is fabulous.. so feminine.. the combination of style of each piece she's wearing just makes her so unique.. she is amazingly feminine.. and looks comfortable and i love the 'dried blood' colour of her purse with the other pale pieces..
beautiful! one of the best i have seen.
COOL! :D
I love this look. I enjoy how she mixes multiple colors so well. i'm not sure why ppl are not fond of the shirt. If the shirt was anything but unique, this outfit would be rather boring. Its the combination of colors and the special detailing of the shirt that makes this outfit special.
