Were you stalking this woman? Her expression in the second to last doesn't appear too pleasing.

Blogger The Sartorialist said ... (12:04 PM) :

She was actually very happy to see me because someone had just recently shown her some of the photos I had taken of her during the shows and she was very happy with them.
I'm sure we will be seeing more of Emmanuelle during the next round of shows.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (12:19 PM) :

I like her clothes more than her demure. She has that "I'm bored" attitude, that is supposed to be a honest reaction to the mundane in some places or circles -blasé style, perhaps-.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 PM) :

I love how she was wearing the same pair of shoes in the 1st 3 pix, but cleverly giving it different takes with the change of clothes. Sart, were Pix #1 & 3 taken on the same day sans the trench coat??

Blogger marie said ... (1:17 PM) :

In 3rd photo from the top, the legs of the person on the right takes the focus off the real subject of the photo..the lady on the left.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:54 PM) :

Can her legs BE any longer? (so jealous...)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:03 PM) :

I'm a big fan of her work and I must say - her style is equally amazing.

Carine's girls are her magazine personified.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:41 PM) :

Simple the best!
Love the Fendi shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 PM) :

she's fabulous. are you using a filter or does her neck really look that good? it's so unfair...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:53 PM) :

also, as to her demeanor, i think she simply looks like someone who is frequently photographed but doesn't think of herself as a celebrity. posing for the camera and smiling from ear to ear is not her thing, which is true of many journalists, and perhaps she feels a bit uncomfortable in spite of the fact that she knows and likes sart. she looks to me like she's working and has her mind on that, which is also evident in the way she dresses.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 PM) :

She has this wonderful insoucient quality - combined with de luxe hipness. And long legs.
When are you going to launch a magazine or a book Mr Sartorialist?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

Sart, ... another wonderful set of photos. Paris Vogue is obviously a fashion pinacle! But the last photo is a little dark. Is she in skinny jeans and ankle boots? ... and I don't see the "I'm bored" attitude that maria sensed. I think her attitude is just fine.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:33 PM) :

She looks fabulous, especially in the first pic - love the leggings/laced shoes combo.

And most importantly - she looks effortlessly chic. The 'try-hard look' brigade take note!

Great pair of pins too ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 AM) :

"Best of Season" - I couldn't agree more! From seeing your photos of her from Paris Fashion Week, I've become a fan of her style. Thank you for the pictures!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 AM) :

Possibly Maria is simply jealous.

Blogger FeFe said ... (12:45 AM) :

I find E.A. to be very chic...that effortless French style with a twist of quirk. I do however, find it hard to get past the naked face. I never truly understand it. Just a sweep to conceal the dark circles and a flash of mouth would be fabulous. Something so miniscule yet makes a world of difference.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:09 AM) :

Looking beyong the clothes (which are great), the third picture is a beautiful portrait.

Blogger la femme said ... (6:16 AM) :

Oh my God. Oh my God.

I am an Emmanuellite.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:32 AM) :

Very French style, almost iconic. And her legs are endlessly long!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:31 AM) :

Allow me to go against the stream and am ready to be hit with adverse comments, but the shoes remind me of a witch and I find the black willow look too gaunt and dark to be attractive.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:05 PM) :

BRAVO! Belt on waist.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:38 PM) :

I love that 2nd photo from the top!

Blogger Max said ... (4:26 AM) :

Anna Wintour has nothing on her.

Blogger The Sartorialist said ... (8:54 AM) :

pos/neg

I have to disagree with you

Emmanuelle is one of Vogue's top stylist - her style is one of the main reasons Paris Vogue looks so good.

She puts it on the page

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:44 AM) :

black and grey is everything.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:38 PM) :

Too much black and leggings are not pants.

Sorry even if you are french there are some looks only for young girls.

I love all the pictures you take of the women of Paris Vogue.

Great Job - Keep it up!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:07 PM) :

The man in the barbour jacket is the most fashionable!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:09 PM) :

I lover the man in the barbour jacket...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 PM) :

I´m argentine.I like this people but I think that are very thin. The clothes for thin people many times is seen good.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:23 PM) :

huge patti smith resemblence, not sensual yet still attractive, i am also an emmanualite

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:08 AM) :

Love the shoes! She's got a great sense of style. great shots Sart!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

She could be a model too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:01 PM) :
