She looks devine!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:17 PM) :

PS. Great shot!

Blogger Pumpkin Man said ... (5:38 PM) :

Wow, they do make some good looking people in Stockholm!! Is there anyone ugly over there?
;-)

Blogger Susanna said ... (5:45 PM) :

Thanks for posting this picture. Now when I go shopping for a new pair of sandals, I will have these in my mind as the ideal, and nothing I can find in any store will measure up. I suppose I'll have to find an excuse to go shoe-shopping in Sweden.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 PM) :

like the sandals but, honestly, I'm sick of Stockholm.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:53 PM) :

Am I the only person who thinks she looks like a Big Sur reject from the 70s? The sandals are great but that dress has got to go.....

Blogger JO said ... (7:00 PM) :

Love this dress. Nice shot... I wonder what she is thinking.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (7:08 PM) :

Very beautiful photo! She looks fantastic! Her dress is amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:06 PM) :

She carries herself like a dancer, but the outfit (baggy dress, and somehow masculine shoes) does not accentuate her grace

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:20 PM) :

What was the weather for this shot, Sart? I'm thinking that a dress slit to the hip (and a pair of jeans carried but not worn) is an interesting choice if there's any chance of a random breeze blowing the slit open.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 AM) :

Oh dear. Do not like this look. The lace on the dress brings to mind a cheap polyester nightgown, and the dress overall is kind of a horror. Sorry...

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:15 AM) :

i have similar sandals but i love the dress! is it a kaftan?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:43 AM) :

Sart,
Most people shot in Stockholm have amazingly clear and smooth skin, is it something in Swedish genes, diet, the air?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:59 AM) :

Very cute. The overall look works on her. But I must admit that my first instinct when confronted by hot pink lace is to...run! And there's so much of it on her dress! I love people who have the pluck to go out in something like that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:01 AM) :

She reminds me of Calista Flockhart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:09 AM) :

Love the symmetry in this photo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 AM) :

To Suz: the denim in the picture could be a shirt/jacket.

Blogger Blaise said ... (3:48 AM) :

she looks so savvy..

Blogger nolifebeforecoffee said ... (4:12 AM) :

the background is quite perfect! nice one

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:43 AM) :

"Is there anyone ugly over there?"

Yes, but we ship them out of the country.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:14 AM) :

Poised. she looks like she's levitating.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:51 AM) :

How can anyone be sick of Stockholm??? I love how everyone looks different there, like there's no specific "Stockholm" look. More!

Blogger lala said ... (6:11 AM) :

Many times hippie chic can look a bit out dated. NOT IN stokholm she looks more chic than ever , not sure what it is about her style that looks clean and "to-date" maybe its those sandals .. love them !
:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:30 AM) :

Im proud to live in Stockholm when i see this! Relaxed yet chic.

Blogger DJ FunkyGrrL said ... (9:02 AM) :

lovely dress! I'm Swedish and can attest that Swedes really love their sandals

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:42 AM) :

Finally some Roman inspired sandals that are tasteful and elegant!

Blogger materfamilias said ... (10:21 AM) :

stunningly framed shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:26 AM) :

I don´t like the way she is posing in this pic.from tip to toe.Actually the dress suits her well because she looks somewhat exotic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 AM) :

I am sorry but that dress is not aesthetically pleasing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:29 PM) :

Someone said she looks divine - but spelled it wrongly. This opinion has some merit, as her sandals and economy of dress are certainly approaching the standards of that fashion icon of Jesus. That said, the sandals, while probably good for walking on water, are a major turnoff on the solid ground. what a way to ruin a preety face and nice figure.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:58 PM) :

Very nice look, cute woman. The only thing is, there is something about the sandal style that is making her feet appear nobby, especially the one crossed over. I'm sure it's just me though.

Blogger Kara said ... (3:56 PM) :

She's clearly a beautiful woman and everyone is allowed a sloppy day. To me, the dress and sandals would have been gorgeous and express an easy going mood, but the hair is such a lifeless contrast. It sort of diminishes the look.

"Sart,

As a matter of fact, yes. All they eat is fresh fruits and vegetables fish. And bread. Combine that with nearly perfect genes...you get one beautiful nation.

"Nearly perfect genes", "One beautiful nation"... just so we are clear about one thing: Sweden does not only consist of people of the "Aryan race". It is quite a multi-cultural society; although, how well people of different cultural/ ethnic background get along is an entirely different story. And, by the way, people in Sweden do eat meat and dairy products. LOTS.

Blogger Anastasia said ... (9:06 AM) :

FAB shot!! you sure find beautiful chic people...love her kaftan...great simple leather sandals too!!
after a year of checking out your blog daily...I still get a thrill from what I see!!

Blogger Francesca said ... (11:01 AM) :

she looks so serene!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:04 PM) :

She seems familiar...

is she the 'haunted lady' you took a photo of a while back?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:50 AM) :

Hey, she works at Filippa K! Nicest girl ever. Helped me pick out a cardigan the last time I was there. :)
