Taller, thinner, younger Jean Pual Belmondo? Love the cut of his trousers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 AM) :

I just love this. He looks picture perfect, crisp. And look at those shoes with black&white striped socks; that is the whole idea of the outfit. I appreciate him for ditching black footwear this day; touch of warm brown makes the picture alive!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:58 AM) :

He looks so serious, and then the socks made me laugh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:10 AM) :

My God this man is lovely. But am I alone in thinking his trousers are just too short?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:37 AM) :

Love the pants and the jacket, great color.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 AM) :

yummy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 AM) :

Are those two zippers on his pants?
Love the confidence of this young man. And his jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 AM) :

He's a good looking fellow. Is he holding his friend's sweater? The pants and shoes combo are so not Paris. Still, I like what this fashion plate has to offer. Bravo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:45 AM) :

Where are the bouquinistes? Where is everybody? Great picture. Smoldering dude.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 PM) :

It's terrible!Brrr....

Blogger reverend dick said ... (12:54 PM) :

Holy Woodsy Style, Batman! This guy is amazing. The zippers on his pants (does anyone know who makes them?)are for venting to avoid overheating while super heroically active. The socks- what a slyly humorous touch. And the old school boots? Capping it off.

Blogger Elizabeth said ... (2:16 PM) :

I love those colors, and I love the bleak surroundings.

Blogger Karina Cifuentes said ... (2:22 PM) :

Tres sexy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:51 PM) :

Thanks so much! I have to get my boyfriend to dress like that!
The sweater is amazing!

Blogger AdamfromVA said ... (3:13 PM) :

pants are too tight and a little high for moi.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:22 PM) :

just love the trousers cut and lenth. and boots! i was looking for similar ones for ages! socks! overall look is very neat too.

an inspiration for me (I'm a woman).

I think I am in LOVE...

Blogger Matthew Grayson said ... (5:02 PM) :

Great shoes.

I guess you have to wear a fairly long shirt under that jacket. I like a short jacket, but this proportion is just out of balance for me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:14 PM) :

the socks!! fantastic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:34 PM) :

COOLIO deluxe, i love`s this autfitt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 PM) :

his pants at first seem a little short. therefore, reminiscent of the beer bellied american man in his 40s who continues to wear ten year old dockers. of course here, the legs are cropped and the rest fits well, whereas the aforementioned american invariably displays strained pleats and an unappealing wedgie effect in the rise. unfortunately for this guy, who is otherwise pretty smoking hot (no pun intended), it's difficult for the american in me to get past the pant length. thanks to sart for another great photo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:20 PM) :

this is the French guy every American girl dreams of meeting when she's on study abroad...

although I do hope he's wearing those socks ironically

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (6:20 PM) :

he looks uncomfortable - his stance, outfit - perhaps he doesn't like his picture taken?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:39 PM) :

j'adore french boys!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:15 PM) :

where does one find boots like that? More so what is the style of the boots called? (not up on all my lingo)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

wow...

this whole outfit fits him well..
luv the shoe.

nicee...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:47 PM) :

The bottom half of his outfit does it more for me than the top but overall the proportions are very thought over. Also helps that he's a model because the clothes just look better on him than most people.

Love this, I think it is one of the best. I'm surprised at the ease he is able to pull off the pants but I like them - especially the tie at the knees.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:12 PM) :

ay. i actually don't enjoy this outfit very much.
the jacket is too boxy, and his shoes are more fug than fabulous.
i do like those little black tassel-like things on the inside of his trousers though. what is that?

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:23 PM) :

That's so Thom Browne-esque.
I'm usually not a big fan of Thom Brown looks, but I like this one.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:40 PM) :

That jacket. I need it. Does anyone have any info on it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 PM) :

bad cut everywhere - jacket too big, pants to tight and too small. really no good.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:36 AM) :

i just love the way he is holding the hand in which he has his cigarette. despite his disarmingly handsome face, i am perhaps even more drawn to the position of his hand. it says something about him. it is beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 AM) :

hmm, not sure about the length of his jacket. cut too short?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:33 AM) :

Pants are actually perfect, for all those thinking they are too short. Not to harp on the T Browne effect, but he does it here without seeming contrived or pretentious-fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:00 PM) :

Looks good but I think having your mobile phone show like that through the pants really makes them look cheap in a way! Takes away from the neat look. Rather keep it in my jacket or somewhere, where it doesn't show.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:50 PM) :

Remind me to hang out in that area next time I'm in Paris.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:53 PM) :

anybody knows what kind of shoes are those?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:30 AM) :

This is a French alpha male!! Just try and make fun of his pants. I dare you. Although, the sweater he seems to be holding for someone tells me he's probably sweet. What a stunner. This is why people go to Paris to find love.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:16 AM) :

why are so many guys wearing pale cotton khakis in january?

as much as i like those pants, i think they should be put away until may, in favor of wool and denim.

anyone agree, or i am just clinging to the old days on this one?

Blogger allrweis said ... (11:37 PM) :

i love the socks! the way he played with the length of each garment, the jacket, pants, and sweater, is great (however intentional).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:15 AM) :

sexiness!
casual and chic. and i just love the colours.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

Aren´t those Red Wing-Boots? Not sure though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:48 PM) :

W-O-W. French men are so utterly devastating, par excellence!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:12 PM) :

actually, he is British and the fashion editor of the British version of GQ Style... very sweet guy and has an impecabble dress sense! I really wonder where he got his pants from! any ideas?!?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:17 AM) :

Why does everyone love this guy? Is it the clothes or the hot french guy wearing them?

besides the really cool roll of his jacket collar, his pants look ridiculously short and tight, accenting his spindly legs in the wrong way. Also short jacket with long sweater doesn't work for me.

I see a good looking Frenchman dressing up in his shorter American cousin's J Crew outfit.

The shoes are cool though, as is his nonchalant and unimpressed facial expression.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:52 PM) :

yep that's the lovely garth spencer. and i'm sure i had a similar if not the same pair of neil barrett trousers about 3/4 years ago that had those zips mid leg - behind the knee to alter the fit. will have to dig them out!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:45 PM) :

smoldering!!! wow, that face is raising my bloodpressure. american boys don't give you that look. he's got the perfect tossled boyish haircut. and i love that jacket with the collar. this picture captures a little of his breath in the chilly air; he's like an animal about to engulf you. i surrender!
