What a beautiful dress... she looks almost like a ballerina. I love the colors!

Blogger Zander said ... (9:23 PM) :

There is something just perfect about this. I'm not sure why but it feels like the 90's to me.

Blogger Pavi J said ... (9:28 PM) :

beautiful balance of the delicate and the edgy, of grandmother's lace and 2008's shoes

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 PM) :

I like the shot a lot, it reminded me of me...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:31 PM) :

I want to see something at the waist and less shoe.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 PM) :

I LOVE this so much.
Her stance is pretty cool too.
Shoes? Hmm..might've picked a different pair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 PM) :

The pink coral cardigan is beautiful, Its so wearable and yet so unique. The fabric must hang so well from the shoulders because of its weight. I'm sure we'll have talk of the boots here, great contrast of textures overall.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 PM) :

I really like the color scheme of this outfit, and from a distance thinks it looks great. The shoes are really nice and help to make the outfit a little more casual.

Upon closer inspection though, I am not a huge fan of the dress or the jacket. I get the impression that this was probably a pricey outfit, but the styling of the dress to me just screams "cheap." I think it is the combination of the center ruching, the short length, and the lace being lined with nude; if any one of these details were changed I think I would appreciate the overall look a lot more.

Blogger e l l e said ... (9:41 PM) :

Love the simplicity and contrast of the boots

Blogger D. Debil said ... (9:42 PM) :

Very sexy and sophisticated.

Blogger iEbun said ... (9:47 PM) :

she's sexy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:50 PM) :

amazing.

Blogger Rachel said ... (10:04 PM) :

Beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:26 PM) :

Marry me!

Blogger SASHA said ... (10:26 PM) :

when you see this in a small square from afar it looks like a nothing outfit. when you click and see it larger and up close, it looks interesting and completely different. from conservative to presenting a slight edge.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:51 PM) :

It's perfect. What a wonderful choice of colors for her creamy skin tone.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 PM) :

I love the idea of the outfit and it's gorgeous composition of the photo, but the dress doesn't quit fit right. It pulls a lot on the torso and isn't that flattering. If it was a couple of inches longer and flatter on the torso it would make her look amazing and the outfit would be pitch perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 PM) :

This is beautiful. I don't like this exact pair of shoes, but any similar pair of heavy/chunky/covered boots or footwear would make it perfect. I think it is the shoes that make the overall look so nice, otherwise it would be really plain and boring. Don't know what bag I would put with it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:24 PM) :

She definitely has the confidence to carry such a sexy outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 PM) :

not sure about the feel of the cardigan, but i love the shoes! The dress shoe combination presents a sort of girly edginess. love

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (11:43 PM) :

Wow! Great photo, great expression, great ensemble. I love the boots! If I wasn't happily married...

Blogger THE DAY AFTER YOU DIE said ... (11:56 PM) :

if she were wearing maroon doc's that would def be the dealbreaker...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:06 AM) :

she's beautiful but not well dressed, persay.

Blogger Eli said ... (12:34 AM) :

sequins, lace, suede, studs, in neutrals? wowee

Blogger Cameron Newland said ... (12:40 AM) :

BEAUTIFUL! Love the bright light, her facial expression, and those boots

Blogger Alex said ... (12:41 AM) :

Oooh, great shoes.

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (1:01 AM) :

love the boots.
they really make the whole thing perfect.

Blogger PhilM said ... (1:01 AM) :

beautiful outfit and photo, except for the boots, which clash--and not in an interesting or aesthetically pleasing way at all.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:12 AM) :

Wow, now that to me is sexy!

Blogger John and Beatrice said ... (2:16 AM) :

Flawless

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:31 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:06 AM) :

I love the whole look, form the delicate light makeup/jewelry/hair to the skin-colored lace, and I like how the shoes and sweater keep it casual and interesting. It's a way of taking a very sexy dress and making it appropriate and daytime. Also, I want the dress!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:15 AM) :

How hot would have it been with appropriate shoes?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 AM) :

simplicity... serenity... a casual way very very beauty... almost perfect...

i love the colours...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:42 AM) :

ohhh,i like the skirt so ~~~~~ much

Blogger Tigress said ... (3:51 AM) :

My favorite part of this ensemble has to be her hoop earrings, actually. The lightness of the ensemble is offset by the rather square silhouette--I feel like the earrings echo the delicacy of the lace and the drape of the sweater and return it to the ensemble.

Blogger CJTB said ... (4:16 AM) :

First time I've fallen in love on The Sartorialist! Will it be my last and only?

Blogger Gia said ... (9:28 AM) :

short dress with perfect long legs:)

Blogger TEXTSTYLES said ... (9:36 AM) :

she looks super fantastique
the lace dress with the suede boots and the beaded detailing on the jacket-- i adore.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:50 AM) :

Funny how at first glance she seems all pink and angelic but up close it's really a sexy outfit. almost sheer.

Blogger starbahks said ... (10:30 AM) :

lace is everywhere these days!
i love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

Very feminine & sophisticated...I LOOOOVE the cardigan! However, the dress doesn't fit her well...but even like that, she looks beautiful :)

Blogger cami falcão said ... (11:36 AM) :

those shoes look really bad with the dress....not for me. she's cute though.

Blogger CRF said ... (12:28 PM) :

The dress changes the whole attitude of the pink and white ensemble. It is vamp, plus sugar and spice and everything nice.

Blogger paleblueeyes said ... (1:02 PM) :

so so beautiful.Love how grandmothery lace can be so sexy. Great accessories too.

Blogger Maggie May said ... (1:20 PM) :

looove the colors, the drape of the cardigan

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 PM) :

The shoes take this look from pretty to artistic and beautiful.

There is something about the combo of the lace/pink, the chocolate ankle boots and the setting that makes me think of a beautiful huntress/something woodsy but precious

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:26 PM) :

So hot, so confident

Blogger do you like my tight sweater said ... (3:51 PM) :

she is simply beautiful. life is beautiful. made my day.:)

Blogger Cheryl Houston said ... (5:54 PM) :

I'm sure she would look beautiful in a garbage sack but I'm not a fan of the whole outfit. Do those shoes work? Yeah- I don't like any of it. I like the earrings.

Blogger alhawk said ... (9:50 PM) :

mmmmm. gorgeous photo!

Blogger Olviya said ... (10:13 AM) :

so gentle lace...
very sweet!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:41 PM) :

Me - YOW!

Blogger Susan said ... (12:41 AM) :

love the bracelets.

she looks european.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:10 PM) :

unbelievably hot. like sexy is the worst word in the universe, but dear goodness. unreal. like if i saw this on the street i think i'd collapse. whoa

Blogger Adrienne said ... (7:18 PM) :

it looks great in the photo, i just wonder how she plans on ever sitting down.

Blogger Mucho Mas Mas said ... (12:19 AM) :

her eyes are huge, she`s almost cartoonish.

the center stiching makes her legs look even longer and brings a certain aura of extra voluptosity, almost as if she was about to burst out of her dress.

if it wasn´t for it the dress would not be so eye catching- yet it´d still be hot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 AM) :

i would have worn different shoes but anyways, beautiful dress, gorgeous model, amazing legs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:48 PM) :

i don't agree with the shoes for the outfit, but i really like the boots. does anyone know what they are?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:03 AM) :

the light on that dress makes her impeccably sensual!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 PM) :

hot girl, not outfit. that cardigan's color and texture throws it all out of whack, IMHO. Hmm. Maybe a scarf instead?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:32 AM) :

Very beautiful girl. But the outfit, hmm..weird is the word. How did she come up with that?

Blogger yankeegrl506 said ... (4:16 PM) :

it's so Upper East Side, although I'm not really positive if that's a good thing or a bad thing...
I love the boots, the dress, the earrings, and her hair...not so much the pink sweater thing...

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:26 AM) :

I would collapse on the spot if i'd see her... what a beautiful world we live in!
