Classy yet fashionable :]

Blogger Anna said ... (5:52 PM) :

I just love the pants on the second picture, her whole look is effortless and perfect!

Blogger Dhppy said ... (6:01 PM) :

I never thought the term "a walk in the park" implied such sadness.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 PM) :

need this sunglasses!

Anonymous Esmoquin room said ... (6:09 PM) :

mmm. I think I prefer look numbre 2, with the leather pants.

You should come sometime to Madrid and Barcelona! ;-)

Best!

Blogger The L.o.C. said ... (6:10 PM) :

oh my goodness, just look at all the women in the background of the second photo. the parks in boston definitely don't look like that.

Anonymous tomorrowsinspiration said ... (6:29 PM) :

This is really hot. It inspires me with my work wear. I think this look would work for a lot of people and we can all take inspiration from it.

Blogger J. Cochran said ... (6:37 PM) :

It makes me want to slip on my stilettos for a walk in the park! I love it!

Blogger miss sophie said ... (6:38 PM) :

both looks are a bit severe and boring, but i do like the seemingly billowly fit of the second woman's leatherish pants.

Anonymous Ava said ... (6:45 PM) :

SIMPLY GORGEOUS AND EFFORTLESS BEAUTY IN THESE PHOTOS!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:11 PM) :

Leather pants makes almost every woman the most interesting.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:27 PM) :

the volume of the oversized red coat in the first image captures my eye at first glance.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (7:41 PM) :

So simple, so elegant...perfection! I especially love the 2nd photo. Gorgeous!

Blogger Ashley said ... (7:41 PM) :

Amazing photos, as usual!

Anonymous greendress said ... (7:51 PM) :

The first look is fantastic: feminine yet masculine but clearly you can see that it is a woman. A woman very secure in who she is and how she wishes to present herself.

Blogger ..... said ... (7:58 PM) :

too much black for me :=)!

Blogger SallyO said ... (8:02 PM) :

Forget these stylish fashionistas - the woman in the giant red puffy coat in the first photo steals the show!

Blogger Jess said ... (8:08 PM) :

Question: How does one get jacket sleeves to stay pulled up like that? They always seem to just flop back down...

Anonymous Birdy said ... (8:14 PM) :

@ The L.o.C

lol, yep. The parks here in boston definitely don't look like that... but you're bound to find a group of girls walking around in Red Sox caps or sweatshirts and with ugly oversized bags...
*goes back to dreaming of Paris*

Loved the first shot! Love the black+white combinations!

Welcome back to Brazil, Mr. Sartorialist!
Looking foward in seeing some nice shots from the brazilian people here!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 PM) :

Love the angle of the woman in the first photo, with her hair blowing in the wind, hand in her pants pocket, and the contrast with the heavy woman in the red jacket in the background.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 PM) :

The second woman kinda looks like Camilla Belle! And the woman in the background of that picture looks like Sienna Miller! Maybe I've just been reading People magazine too much... Anyways, I LOVE the leather pants and belt, and especially the way she's put it together. I love the blazer, too.

Blogger Mona said ... (10:11 PM) :

Wow I'm in love with that second photo. There's many other chic people in the background too :)

Blogger C A said ... (10:20 PM) :

TRÈS CHIC, just love it.

Blogger E said ... (10:20 PM) :

I agree with Miss Sophie.

There is nothing striking about the first look.

I like the contrast of textures in the second, with the blazer and knit scarf against the leather (?) pants. Plus the glimmer of the gold buckle peeking out amongst al lthe black. she looks classy, but doesn't overly excite me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:25 PM) :

I'm from Philadelphia and we're not sartorialist-worthy (we're really not) but why is everyone wearing black in the spring? Punctuated by pops of tan and white? I like all the different textures of material but not all black in May, nope.

Anonymous JESSIE said ... (11:55 PM) :

boyfriend's coat! I like it soooooo much. this style is hot in HK too but not many of the women get a good hold of the total look!

Blogger Random Musings by a Prickly Pear said ... (11:57 PM) :

Just discovered your blog...your photos are stunning. I've added you to my favorite blogs list!

Blogger Min Kim said ... (11:58 PM) :

I will never dress casual to a park again... Very nice looks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 AM) :

In the second picture, I am loving the girl in the background with the layered thick sweater and the melon colored scarf, I love the woman in black, but I can't stop looking at the one behind her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 AM) :

black is so classic.

Blogger Tyler said ... (1:26 AM) :

I love the woman in the background with the trench and salmon scarf!

Blogger Branding Is Blather said ... (1:34 AM) :

It definitely takes a confident woman to wear baggy nylon pants.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:35 AM) :

Oh, look, women balancing on tiny and high heels..

Blogger Orkun said ... (1:46 AM) :

what kind of park is she at in the second picture? Never seen so many beautiful ladies together in a park.

Blogger J. M. said ... (2:12 AM) :

Love the scarves!

Blogger The Comet said ... (2:12 AM) :

I love the flow of the pants that the lovely woman on top is wearing.. Your Parisian park scenes are always glorious..

I love the classy yet casual take on the classic suit :)

Blogger mybeautyaffair said ... (3:10 AM) :

woohoo...
This photo is the best & ideal for office outfit unlike one in singapore that is dull.
I love her black shawl with black jacket. :))

Anonymous SusiQ said ... (3:15 AM) :

Hi!

They really look gorgeous. However, let's face it: For how long will you be really comfortable to take a walk in the park in high heels? Must be a short walk - yet in style, definitely!

Bye!

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (4:39 AM) :

i like seeing that person in red, in the background of the top picture

and the wind on everyone

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (4:52 AM) :

Lovely ladies. Is the first one also dressed in all black?
I think grey should make its comeback because I see way too many black outfits. Choosing for the save path isn´t always stylish.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:18 AM) :

see how well dressed the people are in the background?! effortlessly casually elegant. how do parisians do it??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:21 AM) :

could be severe... except there are painted toenails peeking out & a braceleted wrist, & a show of ankles... gorgeously feminised.

Blogger Juliet said ... (5:22 AM) :

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:48 AM) :

i'm loving the return of the suit, in all its forms! Almost Always Powerful and Sexy! Just please I am not ready for the lacy things that usually end up under them! Fingers cross fashion keeps the power this time!

Blogger Shadan said ... (8:22 AM) :

my all time fave!

Anonymous ziolele said ... (8:29 AM) :

woman with a moleskine notebook (second picture) what else?

Blogger matthew langley said ... (8:53 AM) :

wow - everyone in the second picture looks amazing. this looks like it could be a goddard movie.

A very good Goddard movie.

Blogger Angeles Almuna said ... (9:59 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 AM) :

This walk in the park is more my style... the first pic has something really cool about it, like she's thinking about something really important like looking insanely cool.

Anonymous princess glee said ... (11:26 AM) :

Top pic - Appropriate but nothing special.

Bottom pic - Love the white shirt breaking up all the black. Love the roomier shaped leather pants. Love the pumps exposing toe cleavage, makes the whole outfit a little sexy.

Blogger doingtheunstuck said ... (12:15 PM) :

The pumps in that second photo are fantastic.

I, like others, can't believe this is just a park in Paris, with SO many women, and all in heels! I'm headed there this fall, and hope it lives up to my expectations. You just don't see this in Chicago, unfortunately...

Blogger Limma said ... (12:38 PM) :

flawless! perfect combination, the pants-the belt-the shoes-the scarf. heart this one =)

Anonymous Alexandra said ... (1:08 PM) :

All the women in the third photo are beauitful. (check out the back ground) Great job!!!

Blogger Shunshun said ... (1:18 PM) :

Oh my oh my. Love the second picture. Such a strong look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:34 PM) :

That Moleskine diary in her hand is the real fashion statement.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:59 PM) :

Love the sunglasses and the moleskine!

Anonymous la louve blanche said ... (2:50 PM) :

I wonder when these were taken? It doesn't look like a genuine wander through the park...more like people going from one venue to another - sometime during fashion week perhaps? That would explain all the dressed-up people in the background (I've lived in Paris and the parks are not populated solely by fashionistas, sorry folks...)

The second woman holds herself SO beautifully.

Blogger Maria said ... (3:06 PM) :

ah, the women of Paris...

I love how even the people in the background (2nd pic) are so fashionable. Paris beats pretty much ever other city, in that aspect!

Blogger Romi said ... (3:40 PM) :

Beautiful shot. I absolutley love what the blond girl in the back is wearing. Two great outfits in the same shot.

http://bsasjournal.blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 PM) :

the woman in the second has such swagger and her whole look just melts together. the scarf, the sunglasses, the pants and jacket, they all just 'go.'

Anonymous Sonali said ... (6:47 PM) :

No one does it like the French, sigh.

Blogger noelakadjtambour said ... (2:28 AM) :

let's admit it, the 2nd photo is really a composition on parisian legs

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:31 AM) :

Althought it looks cool I cant avoid feeling pain thinking about going for a walk in a park with those small shoes.
Its a little nonsense for me.

Anonymous sandra said ... (7:29 PM) :

wow...the woman in the second picture is just amazing...like the leather pants...unfortunately in my little german university city not wearable without standing out like a sore thumb

Blogger T in P said ... (6:03 AM) :

noone else thinks the lady in the 2nd shot looks like penelope cruz?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:11 AM) :

leather pants are made to be worn fitted. and why she's so happy. lol.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:10 PM) :

I recognise the woman in the second picture - she was earlier on in your blog (April?), wearing an amazing black furry V-neck jumper, black mini and those bright red heeled sandals, AND the black moleskine!! She oozes style!

Blogger Malcolm Hall said ... (5:49 AM) :

Surely 2nd pic is actor Gina Gershon... ?

Blogger CHICMUSEMAG said ... (7:55 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:32 AM) :

I like the leather pants and jacket. he is so masculine stylish!!!:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:35 PM) :

I think the superstylish woman in the second photo is Anna Bromilow from Tatler UK.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:31 AM) :

Not just any park, I believe this the Jardin des Tuileries, between the Musee du Louvre and Concorde.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:57 PM) :

Laura Pausini?

Blogger Kristian said ... (10:33 AM) :

i love how everything about her seems thought of, right down to the moleskin notebook she carries. just fab. and everyone else in this picture looks gorgeous as well. the woman in the background is in complete contrast to the one in the front. its great

Blogger Ivo said ... (12:16 PM) :

2nd pic is actor Penelope Cruz?
