Wow. So severe.
Something inside me is bothered by the coloured tights with sandals, but I do believe I like it!

Blogger A Colourful Guy Drowning said ... (9:16 AM) :

At Dior? Yeah, that'd be about right! ;)

Blogger Chelsea said ... (9:21 AM) :

I'm sure this girl was on Jak&Jill recently. The internet loves her.

Blogger James Jean said ... (9:22 AM) :

The young lady on the right has such an edgy look. I quickly imagined that David Bowie in his "Ziggy Stardust" days would have been very fond of it. The woman on the left has a beautiful necktie on.

Anonymous spotmag said ... (9:30 AM) :

Simple and elegant... very french...

Blogger Magdalena said ... (9:31 AM) :

Great picture! Obviously it's hot in Paris :)

Blogger Lama said ... (9:36 AM) :

i like how the stockings match with the shoes

Blogger parisgirl said ... (9:56 AM) :

fierce ladies...love 'le style nerveux'! time to shake up my own lazy fashion attitude...

Blogger RubyRai said ... (10:12 AM) :

Who is the stylish lady on the right? I've seen her a few times on Jak and Jil as well. Love her look.

Blogger crowsfeet said ... (10:16 AM) :

The women are certainly lovely.

The photo, however, is breathtaking.

Blogger . said ... (10:17 AM) :

the woman with the raveshing haircut and pale skin is seen previously on jak & jill. she's incredibly fashion in every way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:18 AM) :

This, to me, looks like the oppressive side of fashion, or rather, when fashion takes itself too seriously. There is no fun, no sense of humor or whimsy. As a photograph, however, its wonderful. An unlikely study of both tension and ennui...

Blogger superwasp said ... (10:43 AM) :

isn't that miss kittin? they used a lot of her and the hacker's music for this show.

Cool hair style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:00 AM) :

A little too Gothic Poison Ivy (from Batman) for me.

http://tzimisce-contentwriter.today.com/files/2008/08/batman_poisonivy_5.jpg

The one of the left is much more subtle and sweet. Classy. Not like she is trying too hard.

Blogger norawoah said ... (11:11 AM) :

The first thing I thought of-
In La Citie des Enfants Perdues
(The City of Lost Children) the Siamese Twins, the villains. They are a re-interpretation of that, an oh so fabulous one.

Blogger Hadley Makes said ... (11:13 AM) :

I've been seeing a lot of black lipstick lately. Is it now a super cool addition to one's outfit?

Anonymous madeleine said ... (11:30 AM) :

I like the green and red new to each other

Anonymous Emma Howard said ... (11:31 AM) :

Nice tonal geometric background

Anonymous Martin said ... (11:34 AM) :

Wow, this one should be in the next book. Either woman by herself would have given you a nice photo. Together, they've given you a great photo.

Blogger Ela said ... (11:45 AM) :

I adore that red skirt and the bounce in it's cut, which you managed to capture as she sat still.

So wish I wasn't away from Toronto today...

Blogger Rosalind said ... (11:46 AM) :

I like the fact that they're both wearing faintly strange outfits, but look so serious at the same time. I think it reallyadds another dimension to the photo!

Quite Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2007; I love the lipstick, it pulls everything together.

Love it all...the blunt bangs>>>earrings>>tights>>>sandals....

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (1:16 PM) :

Love the outfits and the setting, you took quite a few photos there! More than anything I feel validated, I have an old Karl Lagerfeld t-shirt that is very season specific, and here the woman on the left is wearing something that says Autumn Winter 07-08. Old fabulous t-shirts rock! Jorge from WPB

Blogger InStudio Blog said ... (1:19 PM) :

Everything about this is friggin awesome! Please include it in your next book ;- )

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (1:23 PM) :

That woman on the right is so intriguing to me..I wish I knew who the was. Amazing shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

I can't decide what I think about people's diappearing eyebrows. The NY Times just did a piece last week about the popularity of people willingly removing their own eyebrows...It't not a trend I'm cool enough to participate in, I guess.

Blogger Phoebe Rose said ... (1:47 PM) :

That dress has been on everyone...but you can't get bored of it! Great shot :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:30 PM) :

I love the outfit on the left. The colour combination is stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:37 PM) :

That's an earring? Thank God; I thought it was a tattoo!

Blogger KP said ... (3:57 PM) :

perfectly uninterested and French-love the vibe-makes them own the looks...

Blogger junglesiren said ... (4:00 PM) :

They're so literal from their pose to their toes.

They look like extras from Ugly Betty.

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:05 PM) :

shes so coolll

Anonymous an said ... (5:38 PM) :

they don't look like dior girls...

Blogger Style Geek said ... (5:40 PM) :

I didn't know the meaning of "Venom Green" until I saw that woman in those tights.

http://style-geek.blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:03 PM) :

Bold and sharp! Were they inspired by science fiction?

Blogger Hannah said ... (11:56 PM) :

Do people actually cut their hair like that? Or is it a hair piece?

I love the woman on the left. I adore her shoes.

Blogger Victoria said ... (12:40 AM) :

This picture is definitely different, and the fact that it's taken at a Dior show fits the bill! I'm feeling the girl on the left with her fuchsia flouncy skirt. however, the girl on the right is questionable. I have never really been a fan of tights and open toed heels. But what I love about this blog is that the pictures aren't always conventionally "pretty" and it always pushes the envelope and questions what really is fashion?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:07 AM) :

I like those tights but I don't like their haircuts

Blogger BB&HH said ... (4:35 AM) :

The pair looks cute =).
Paris was awesome at FW times.

Blogger Alan Nei said ... (5:36 AM) :

très chic !!

Blogger Vanidoso71 said ... (7:15 AM) :

I like in general, but I don´t accept the girl in the left is wearing a T-shirt of the A/W 07-08. Neither vintage nor modern. A little out of place. Sorry.

Blogger Susie said ... (7:40 AM) :

I like individual things about both looks but over all I've seen this idea way too many times, in NYC and even here in Boston.

I guess its just not me but it is a beautiful photograph.

the one on the left is wearing "wake up, cave girl" tshirt from vivienne westwood's 07/08 show! ha ha! that song is now on her cd as well! good times in Paris...

Blogger erin nuts said ... (9:22 AM) :

this is such an interesting photo. it's the kind of thing where even though it's not MY style, it's so clearly THEIR personal style that you have to look twice and love it. the lady on the right knows just what she likes and wears it with a vengeance.

Blogger miss sophie said ... (9:47 AM) :

ha! partners in crime and sisters in style. love this photo :D

Blogger Miss Y. said ... (10:55 AM) :

The woman in green looks like she just walked out of the set of Star Trek :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:11 PM) :

A little too "Witches of Westwick" circa 2009...albeit in Christopher Kane

Blogger DENNI said ... (9:41 PM) :
