Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:52 PM) :

Awesome shot and dig the style, but he's obviously not cruising like that board was meant for.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:01 PM) :

Sorry, I have to disagree here. This jacket isn't remotely Brando or rocker. The corset-like eyelets or snaps on the side are the giveaway. There was once (late, 1980s, early 1990s) a thin line between this and an 8-ball jacket. Fashion's memory may be flawed, but it's not that flawed.

I think we're talking more about the way this young guy is carrying it off.

Blogger Style Scanner said ... (5:07 PM) :

Genuine 'street style'!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:08 PM) :

Cross different David-poses (Michelangelo to Donatello) with a longer, leaner version of Tom Cruise in a timewarp = this picture! I can't get over the pose you captured... Almost perfection!

Blogger Gene said ... (5:34 PM) :

The way he is wearing the jacket is very chic. I love your blog and pictures by the way.

Anonymous jdit said ... (5:40 PM) :

Look at that leather jacket long enough and it almost looks like there's a second body superimposed in it. The perspective is odd with the sleeve directly above the arm but with the jacket seeming to fit the shoulders where it should the arm looks out of place. Could be just me?

Love the look - true urbanity - looking out for unchecked traffic.

Can't imagine skinnier jeans - Wow!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 PM) :

marc sebastian faiella. you are always chic, my friend. xx

Blogger LPC said ... (6:06 PM) :

Blogger "Guppy" Honaker said ... (6:51 PM) :

That is a cool leather jacket - and looks great on the tall, lanky guy. Should be topped off with one of the hats in the previous post. Nothing is more stylish than a gentlemen's hat (which often looks great even on women with the right outfit).

I wonder how he skates with those Dr. Martens. You won't see me skate in my boots.

Blogger Sohn said ... (7:32 PM) :

to everyone who already commented:

i think docs are seperating the opinions, in my opinion they don't suit him that well, well, they suit almost no one.

but this isn't the point.
the point is:
this guy is no skater!
he's just a new york hipster type with longboard, and thats a BIG difference

Anonymous petal said ... (7:34 PM) :

he looks like cameron from ferris bueller.

Blogger mukelarvin said ... (8:16 PM) :

I agree with Sohn.

Longboard = Dealbreaker.

If you're going to skate then get a real skateboard. If you want to wear nice shoes you have to ride a bike. No inbetweens.

Blogger Liz S said ... (8:41 PM) :

I love this look--the long tall lean with the oversize top--he can pull this jacket off and this can be hard to do with the large arm/shoulder area. I adore Docs--I actually think they suit many--and are much more versatile than many realise. They are timeless in my opinion.

Was he in the other photo with the white jeans? He could work most things well, I think.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:14 PM) :

This guy looks just like the actor that played Telly in 1995's "Kids." Maybe it is him...

Blogger Annushka said ... (9:27 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:27 AM) :

Not digging the flaps on the back pockets, they look like girl's jeans to me. Nothing wrong with a skinny jean, but he doesn't wear these well; too baggy on the thigh and calf whilst tight at the knee, looks strange!
