Anonymous LA Film Actress said ... (8:37 PM) :

Your photos of Milan V. are just terrific. He always looks great. He must be the most naturally stylish man in Milan. And I love his peacoat - I assume it's Trussardi? Anyway, it would look great here at Sundance, where we're all enjoying the winter weather - and the festival's films of course!

Thanks again for the inspiration your site provides - it is an inspiration not just to fashion people, but to movie people as well. BTW, if you can't make it out to Sundance this year (you should try to come some time and take photos), you can check out our Sundance reviews at:

I love the angle at which he was taken.
I wonder how do you approach the people to take the picture or just take it?

What ethics is there to it?

Blogger CW said ... (9:22 AM) :

This appears to be a surplus Italian Navy bridge coat, not a pea coat. No epaulets would mean that this was meant for a non-commissioned rank such as the equivalent of a chief petty officer.

Similar bridge coats, but with epaulets and besom/flap pockets, are available at USA and UK armed forces surplus websites.

Blogger S Santoro said ... (2:25 PM) :

Would have been perfect if he had Persol, instead of Rayban
