Isn't funny how the fur collar looks detached from the coat as opposed to a separate piece.

Dress and hair suit the location perfectly something old world east looking about it...

And I looove her dress and fur collar too. But her face really makes the pictures I think

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:48 AM) :

As far as I'm concerned, this is quintessential street style/blog/fashion. your shoots are real, real people, real class and style. Some I find are too intimidating or good but does not resinate. you are the best at finding something of pure beauty, not just a shot of fashion in one dimension ( you can find that anywhere) there is more to your photos somehow. It's very inspirational. I love them- this is wonderful. thank you

Blogger 82Brute said ... (10:54 AM) :

I've always loved those moments when a city scape looks like a stage set. Hopper captured this in his paintings. In this photo, the light isn't really theatrical, but the setting and the subject are. Fabulous.

So Beautiful. Reminds me of one of my favorite pictures from Erwin Olaf (For people of the Labyrinth):

This shot is phenomenal. The woman is very beautiful, as is her ensemble, but it's the beauty of this photo that catches the eye.

I love the way you compose your shots. They are each like a little painting.

Lovely photograph, but I don't love her style.

photographers just like further orientalizing chinatown, despite the fact that this street is the first to be gentrified by the sort who reads this blog and cries out "where's the past?"

This picture works on all levels. The background, the subject....love it.

The frock of a poor Betty Draper, the coat of grandma, the shoes and jutted hip of flamenco... and eating a peach? Beautiful and not awkward.
