Haruo Suzuki of Take Ivy, Florence

I know Take Ivy is a big hit. I see that book everywhere I go.

What I didn't realize was that Sartorialist alum, Haruo Suzuki, is involved with the project.

When I was in Florence last week, I ran into him. He very generously gave me an advance copy of the next edition, which will reach US audiences sometime next month.

For all of you prepsters; mark your calendar. Take Ivy 2 (actually, Take Ivy 8 - whatever that means) is on the way.

I'd guess it's "Take Ivy 8" because there are eight Ivy League schools.

Hi,Scott.
Unfortunately,This is NOT
Mr.Shiro Ito.
His name is Haruo Suzuki who is very famous person in Men's fashion market in Japan, and as you know he is up many times on your blog.
Yes,he is involved this project, and his comment is mentioned on the velt of this book.
So,maybe he just wants to introduce this book, and let me explain that title "TAKE 8 IVY" comes from a number of 8 universities of "IVY LEAGUE".

I assume "8" is for the eight Ivies. I agree with M, more Cornell. I know the original Take Ivy had more shots than the one released recently.
